Education Advocacy
ADVOCATES FOR PROGRESS is an education advocacy program of Progressive Outreach Coalition. We provide rducation and services to families with low income and to families with children having special needs. Our goal is to provide parents and guardians with skills and tools to enhance their ability to advocate for the education of their children. Advocacy services are geared toward, General Curriculum, Special Education, Section 504, and Behavior Problems.
Interested in Volunteering?
If you are intested in helping parents build and maintain relationships with school staff, prepare for IEP meetings and teacher conferences, and identify the need of their children, please consider volunteering with Progressive Outreach Coalition, as an Advocate for Progress.
